What to Wear to a Winery in the Mountains of Virginia
Confession: I have being going through a funk for a long time. It happens to me sometime! Being out of college has been difficult, going through daily struggles and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.
It was constantly raining and storming here in Florida, I hardly got to enjoy the sunshine or the beach. I was going through a seasonal depression. I went with my parents on a vacation in Virginia to visit family there, and it was just what I needed. Now, I really want to go back! The mountains there were so gorgeous…such stunning nature and scenery! I wish we had mountains like that here in Florida.

My family and I had an amazing luncheon at an elegant winery in Charlottesville, Virginia called Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards. We sat at the dining table sipped wine and ate appetizers together. I am not a big wine fan; I tried some but I mainly drank lemonade and had delicious french fries. I know…I am like a kindergartner! It was a charming, exquisite place, and I truly enjoyed it. The outdoors was so gorgeous, with the beautiful mountains, flowers and trees! It was like a fairytale. Perfect venue for a wedding or a bridal shower.
I saw another girl wearing a Nap Dress! This was the perfect time to wear my Hill House Louisa Nap Dress in Ballerina Pink paired with my Hill House Ribbon Choker. I highly recommend checking out Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards if you are in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. It is a great place to dress up nice and girly and have lunch and wine with your girlfriends or your family! My family and I had a fabulous time together at this winery, and such a great weekend gateway in Virginia!
It turns out I wasn’t really depressed, I just needed a vacation. Anyone understand me? I am so grateful I was able to go on this trip!
