Birthday Brunch at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach
For my birthday this year, I got to go somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for the longest time, the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. I've wanted to spend time at this Barbie pink hotel for ages, and I am so happy I could go there for my birthday! With two of my best friends, I had a fabulous luncheon at this incredible hotel and a truly amazing day.

The Colony is an iconic hotel and a historic landmark in Palm Beach that Architectural Digest describes as “dressed (or painted) to impress.” The Colony is absolutely the cutest, girliest hotel ever. The style of the hotel is impeccable; its pink exterior is stunning. With the gorgeous interior wallpaper decked out in flamingos, monkeys, palm trees, and pink, the inside is pleasing to anyone with an eye for good taste. We took pictures and made friends with the guests at the hotel before our reservations for lunch in the garden. We met very nice people and enjoyed the hotel’s monumental lobby. I was absolutely in love! It was, I can not say enough, the cutest lobby ever.
My two best friends and I were waiting outside at one of the tables in the garden by the pool that I have always wanted to sit by! The garden was beautiful, with chandeliers and bright greenery, and the outdoor area had a DJ and a super fun vibe! Inside the pool were tons of adorable pink and girly floaties. There were families in the pool with the cutest babies and kids! I ordered one of my favorites for lunch: pasta with shrimp and french fries, and my friends ate grilled cheese sandwiches. The french fries were amazing, and the shrimp was super tasty! Of course, I had to order a couple of Virgin strawberry daiquiris and a Shirley Temple. I don’t drink very often, but we met this really nice lady who offered to buy me a drink. I declined at first but then changed my mind, and she said she would get me a beverage that is a favorite among models in Italy. My friend had to take a video of my face when I tried the beverage (the name of it escapes me); I am not a huge fan of the taste of alcoholic beverages! We laughed together, shared memories, and enjoyed the music and our time together. I had a fabulous time eating lunch and making sweet memories with my girlfriends at the lively hotel in the Palm Beach sunshine.
We walked around the pool after lunch, and there was the cutest shop with an excellent selection of shoes and fun, summery dresses and apparel. We window-shopped for a bit and then chatted with some of the families and adorable children. Everyone was so friendly and kind! Inside, there was an exquisite Dolce and Gabbana store. We took a peak, but actually shopping the store was a bit too dangerous for us! The dresses and bags were absolutely stunning.
The Colony Hotel is a classic destination at the heart of Palm Beach, Florida. The atmosphere is so inviting, and the people are warm and welcoming. The pink exterior and decorative wallpaper are truly iconic. My friends and I had so much fun celebrating my special day. It feels bittersweet becoming one year older! I am truly blessed to have spent my birthday at this one-of-a-kind destination in Palm Beach.
