The Most Versatile Navy Dress

A navy dress, just like a little black dress is the most versatile piece of clothing that you can create so many different outfits with. I have worn this navy dress a million different times but with different sweaters, scarves, and other accessories, so I have created many different looks with the same dress. This navy dress, which I got at Franchesca’s for a very reasonable price, is so easy to dress up or down. Here, I am wearing it with my beautiful pink jacket that Nadine bought for me at an upscale clothing store in Graz, Austria. This jacket is another piece that can go with many different tops or dresses, more than you would think. It is gorgeous; it reminds me of something Elle Woods would wear in court. It’s also practical, because it keeps you warm when the weather outside is cold. I accessorized this outfit with my pearl statement necklace (not my real pearls) that I got from one of my favorite stores, J-crew, to dress up the outfit. Anyone who knows me knows that pearls are one of my favorite types of jewelry; they are so elegant and classy. I am also wearing with this outfit my black Kate Spade purse that I got on the Kate Spade Surprise Sale a couple years ago for a great price.

I love this outfit, because it is so classy, feminine, sophisticated and preppy. I wore this outfit to my cousin Corinne’s bridal luncheon, which was at the cutest restaurant ever called The Swan House Restaurant. It was so nice to spend time with my family, and I am so happy for Corinne that she is getting married soon! It’s funny because she thought she was never gonna get married, but then her Prince Charming showed up in shining armor. I guess love comes when you least expect it. Her fiancé, Jay, is an amazing guy who cares very much for her and her adorable four-year-old daughter, Aanya. I hope someday I can find a love like what Corinne has with Jay. Their beautiful story gives me hope that someday I will.
