A Southern White Peasant Dress

Did you guys know that in college, I wrote a paper and made a presentation on Reese Witherspoon for one of my fashion classes? I earned an A; I am a huge Reese Witherspoon fan! I have her book, Whiskey in a Teacup, I grew up watching her movies, and now, I wear her clothes! I love everything from Draper James, her line of classic Southern apparel. One of my favorite dresses from Draper James is now available on sale on Poshmark and Ebay. It is the most adorable and ladylike white peasant dress.

The tie-waist peasant dress is a true classic. The dress is elegant and flattering with its gorgeous ruffles and the cutest bow on the side. It is the most classic Southern style, and I feel so feminine and beautiful wearing it! It would be perfect for church, a picnic, or indeed any occasion. It looks flawless paired with my June Bucket Bag, also by Draper James.

I give this dress five stars; it is one of my favorites in my collection! On the website, they now have it available in a bright red, which is stunning. However, I believe you cannot go wrong with the fresh, crisp white.

In this picture, I paired the dress with a Love Shack Fancy-inspired bow, just for fun, a pop of color, and an extra touch of femininity. I love the dainty floral print, and how it adds a pop of color to the look.
